Tara quietly and slowly nodded, hoping Ivy would back off.
Ivy stood there silently. "Okay." she whispered.

Tara of Wind
It all happened...so fast. One minute, I was with Adam. The next, those girls came. They caught us. Adam ran to his side of the wall. They must have been close to him, since they recognized him so easily. But...the girl, Ivory, said she was Adam's best friend. She took him from me. I stood silent the whole time, while the other Earth, Ivy I think, yelled at me. It was like the snap of a snowflake. Delicate, but silent, and something beautiful broken. That snap, was my heart. Adam chose to come over with me, and everything was perfect. Then he left. It was like a part of my heart was hollow. I wanted to cry. I wanted to scream. But I couldn't. I just stood there, like a statue, nodding to the Earth like an idiot while the other threatened to turn me in. I blinked, and then the first tear fell, followed by a waterfall.

As Tara bawled, the thought of Auralee entered her mind. Where was she? Tara hadn't seen Aura for days.

Aura was quietly in her room watching as it began to rain. One by one little drops entered the world with a depressing hello. She couldn't get Tara off her mind, about how she left her for Adam. She probably had already forgotten about me wherever she is with Adam. Aura thought, clueless about what happened. A tear fell from her eye as she got up and looked out of the window. It was raining hard now but was quiet. The fires were all inside worrying, the waters were messing around with the rain, the earths probably didn't care about it, and the winds....They were joining the rain. Tara and Aura were far away from each other, crying.

Though it was from far away, Tara felt as if she could hear Aura crying along with the rain. Tara usually loved the rain: she would fly high into the clouds above the rain and howl down into the rain and make it windy and hard. She loved to blow at an angle and make the rain seem like it was raining sideways or diagonal.

Aura usually doesn't cry, so she went outside to make it seem like it was rain, not tears. From a distance she heard with her excellent hearing, sobbing that sounded like Tara.

Why would she be crying? Auralee thought to herself. She's out with Adam. Maybe he broke her heart...

Aura just decided to think it was someone else. But who else would be crying?

Anyone else could be crying, Auralee. Aura thought to herself.

She kept hearing it, and it got louder. Aura got suspicious and went silent to hear better.

She slowly got closer to the crying, and then could easily tell it was indeed her friend.

"Oh my god," Auralee muttered, dropping down, kneeling next to her best friend. Suddenly a flash of everything that happened in the last day crowded her mind. She started crying again "Tara," she said softly as warm tears pricked her eyes. Aura hated to see her best friend crying. "I'm so sorry," she added, hugging Tara. Tara didn't hug back. Instead, she kept her face inside her knees and secured them tightly with her hands.

"What're you sorry about?" Tara growled between sobs.
Feeling her friend's shaky sobs, Aura felt her tears stream down her face. "I-I'm sorry for ignoring you, acting like a jerk. I don't know what happened."
Tara brought her head up slightly but not all the way, just enough to see her bloodshot eyes. "Those... those filthy Earth girls... it was like they stole him back. He got stressed out. B-By them? By me? Oh, A-Aura, I dunno what happened." Tara squeezed her eyes shut, and opened them again. Fresh tears were released onto her delicate face. "He... he ran back to his kipengele, and one of those girls yelled at me. Ivy? I think it was I-Ivy..." Tara's eyes grew wicked and full of hatred at the girl's name. "I shouldn't have thought I had a chance with a boy from another kipengele."

"Tara," Aura said softly, comforting her friend, "We will just have to see. I'll come to the wall with you, alright?" Tara nodded with a slight vibration added. Aura stood up and helped her friend up too. "Let's go," Tara whimpered.

The whole way they walked, Tara moped. As much as she didn't want to see those two girls, she knew she had to sometime. If only she could just rest a bit to regain her senses.

"I want to kill them," Tara mumbled, shaky and quietly. "I know," Aura said, putting her hand on her shoulder, "But you can't and you won't."

Tara sighed. "I know. But, it's just..." Tara didn't continue her sentence.
Auralee looked at her friend and patted her shoulder. "Yeah. I know."

When they got there, Aura yelled out, "Hello?" There was no answer

From the other side of the wall, the two Earth girls sat with their back against the thick bricks overgrown with vines, not daring to move a muscle.
"Anyone there?" they heard again.

"Don't you dare move, we might get caught," One said. The other replied, "I don't think it's anyone who will bust us, though."
