"So," J.J. began. "Are you a banana?"
"No," Em replied.

"Oh." JJ said.
Em started to stare off into the distance, her hand still clutching the ring.
Michelle looked confused.

"But, why not?" Michelle asked.
"I'm just not that much into YouTube videos that aren't LotR related." Em responded casually.

JJ laughed.
"It's not even that general," Em continued. "I only watch LotR in 99 seconds, outtakes, interviews, and how they made the movies. Not too much. Then I'll go on youtube to listen to music, but that's it."
"Oh." Michelle said.
Em took her hand off the ring around her neck, slowly. She stared at her hand, then she picked up her pizza and began to eat.

"Then, what do you like besides LotR?" JJ asked.

Em laughed. "I like reading, of course. Then I like Television, and swimming. I love swimming."
Michelle and JJ gasp. "We love swimming!" They cry.

Emma laughed. "You guys talk at the same time alot, don't you?" she asked.
"Maybe," they both replied. All three of them burst out laughing.
"Well, Snooki number one and Snooki number two, do you want to go swimming sometime?"

"Sure," JJ said, "But we'd need to check in with our mom. She's a freak like that."
"Okay! I only have a dad, and he's okay with most things. " Em winks.

"That's cool," Michelle laughed. The bell rang for class and the girls got up.
"I'll talk to you guys later!" Em laughed.

"Okay!" Michelle said, as JJ waved. They were glad to have a new friend already.

It came sooner than later, and it was unexpected.
A free period!

All of the grades were having a free period, so Michelle, Em, and JJ met up. "Hey Em!" Janelle said and waved. It took Michelle a couple minutes to join them, she was finishing up some work. "Hey guys!" Michelle greeted as they came. "We go swimming like almost every Saturday...Would you like to join us?" Em nodded. "That would be great! I know some nice pools we can go to." Janelle laughed. "We have a pool in our backyard, but its not as fun as an actual rec. center or something."

"It's better than paying." Em suggested

"You've got that right!" Janelle said and laughed.

"So, will you mom be okay with it?" Em asked
"I think so, " answered Michelle.

JJ looked around. "Have you guys seen Tempest?"
Em shook her head. "No, sorry. She's really shy, and spends most of her time in the school library."
